Since 2018, I have been working alongside college hopefuls to guide them in the process of applying to "right fit" colleges. I offer intuitive listening, guidance in identity formation, familiarity with the inner workings of both application portals and the local high schools' SCOIR platform, clear communication, organizational prowess, and ruthless editing skills. These things, combined with the fact that I am not the parent, position me to be a well-suited guide to rising seniors who are beginning the process of choosing where to spend the next four years of their educational journey. Every student with whom I have worked has been accepted to at least one, if not many, of their college choices. Some decide to wait on college. Most jump in with eager enthusiasm following graduation. In the process of applying to college, each student embarks on a personal journey of self-discovery, an integral part of the path to maturity and independence. I consider it an enormous privilege to walk alongside each student on this path.
